New in November

It seems I only wrote this update in my head, and as there is not yet a way to download directly from my brain to my blog, it didn't make it here!

The monthly challenge:
  • Read a new author, or just a book I’ve been meaning to for years
  • Try a new ingredient/food/recipe
  • Explore a new place
  • Something knittingly new
My new author in November was Alison May. I read her ebooks Life, Love and Vintage Housekeeping, and Scrumptious Treats for Vintage Housekeepers. I have also started reading her blog - which contains much of the content of the two ebooks.

My new food in November was Windrush Valley goats' cheese, which I bought from the new cheese shop that recently opened near us. It is possibly the most delicious goats' cheese I have ever tasted.

My new place was the aforementioned cheese shop - the Cotswold Cheese Company.

In knitting newness, I experiemented with some colourwork in the not-a-Christmas jumper to create snowflakes.
